Unfortunately I don't have any more articles about the Retainers Review:( The rest are general articles about the Delhi Durbar, with general reviews about the event, to round the subject up before close to its end.
I will be posting them in parts. But first I wanted to share an article in the Pall Mall magazine of that period, 'To India with a Sketch-book', written by Leonard Raven-Hill, my favourtite artist of the period. I haven't researched much about his work in other periods and media, but I admire his sketches of the Durbar A LOT. He draw with exquisite grace and gave his portraits a vivid character; I feel that he captured the real essence in his work.
